This book, targeted at (in my opinion) young adults graduating from college and possibly even high school, is meant to help them in the transition from being a student living at home to a productive member of society. All this from a Christian perspective.
The main topics are: Identity, Career, Finances, Home, and Growth. Those are some really big subjects to cover in about 250 pages, but Kenny Silva does a good job in giving an easy-to-read overview of this information because it wasn't too long ago that he was learning these things for himself. He is easy to relate to in a "big brother" kind of way, and that's what gives this book credibility to the targeted audience.
As a parent, I thought the book was a helpful reminder to me of important topics to cover with my own children before they are having to make those choices.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I was provided a free copy of this book by Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion.
