Got my cookie baking done... yesterday. My daughter decided that baking Christmas cookies was far better suited for closer to Christmas. I agree. Not because I procrastinate at times... Sometimes if I start my baking too early, there aren't any cookies left for Santa. So we think that cookie baking is best suited for anytime after the first day of winter. That and the dog just got back from the groomer's.

- Christmas Morning: Simple fruit salad; egg casserole; sprouted flour lemon-blueberry sweet rolls
Mid-Afternoon Snack:
- Apples or bananas with almond butter
- Vanilla chia seed pudding
- Kefir smoothies
- Monday: Minestrone soup; sprouted wheat buttermilk biscuits; green salad
- Tuesday: Christmas Eve Menu
- Wednesday: Christmas Day Menu
- Thursday: Grilled steak; quinoa pilaf; red cabbage with lemon & black pepper; sauteed green beans with bacon & scallion
- Friday: Leek soup; Chicken Parmesan served on top of whole wheat noodles; fresh French bread; Caesar salad
- Saturday: Vegetable-bean soup with ham; leftover French bread; green salad
