Have you ever sat down and had a heart-to-heart with a dear friend and/or mentor? Well, that is how "As Silver Refined" by Kay Arthur reads. It's like having someone that you know who cares about you and your faith have a loving conversation and sharing insights based on Biblical truth about "stuff" that happens in our lives.
Mrs. Arthur encourages the reader to trust God in all things. All things happen while under God's watch and He sometimes allows "bad stuff" to happen to draw us closer to Him.
I would recommend this book to absolutely anyone who has dealt with life's challenges. I am looking forward to reading this book again, at a more leisurely pace, and working through the 13-week Study Guide (that is at the back of the book) to get even more from this resource than I did the first time.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I was provided with a free copy of this book by Waterbrook/Multnomah in exchange for my honest opinion.
