Friday, I made up a big batch of
dehydrated hash browns. Because of that, our girlies got a bunch of baked potato skins to feast on. Never give them raw potato skins as that can poison them. Also, if you have chickens and do feed them your table scraps and
good organic feed like we do, make sure they have access to grit to help them digest their food.
So, now that you know what the girls have been eating, here's what's on the menu at our house for the week:
Monday:
Breakfast – Scrambled eggs w/ sausage, cinnamon toast, applesauce
Lunch – Cheese quesadillas, raw veggies & fruit
Dinner – Roast beef shepherd's pie, peaches
Tuesday:
Breakfast – Oatmeal w/ cranberries
Lunch – Leftovers
Dinner – Vegetable beef soup, whole wheat biscuits, green salad
Wednesday:
Breakfast – French toast w/ maple syrup and blueberries
Lunch – Tuna melts, raw veggies & fruit
Dinner – Roast beef hash, fried carrots, green salad
Thursday:
Breakfast – Oatmeal w/ peaches
Lunch - Sloppy joes, raw veggies & fruit
Dinner - Salmon patties, brown rice w/ parmesan, green beans
Friday:
Breakfast – Fried eggs, whole wheat cinnamon rolls, oranges
Lunch – Taco corn fritters w/ salsa, raw veggies & fruit
Dinner – Hamburgers, homemade french fries, green salad
Saturday:
Breakfast – Soaked whole wheat pancakes, maple syrup, sausage
Lunch – Homemade summer sausage, cheese, raw veggies & fruit
Dinner – Homemade pizza, green salad
Sunday:
Breakfast – Soaked whole wheat waffles w/ raspberries, maple syrup, bacon
Lunch – Leftovers
Dinner – Spaghetti pie, green salad, garlic bread, rhubarb upside-down spice cake
