Book Review: Take a Chance on Me

It's been a while since I read a really good Christian romance novel, so I was looking forward to being able to review "Take a Chance on Me" by Susan May Warren.

I was not disappointed.

Mrs. Warren shares a heart-wrenching tale of two best friends, Darek and Jensen, who have become estranged because of guilt and anguish after Jensen accidentally kills Darek's wife and mother to his son, Tiger.  During the story, set on the shores of a northern Minnesota lake, both men find love, acceptance, and forgiveness.

This book is an easy read that I found very touching.  Ivy was a particularly vulnerable character from her years in foster care, while Claire was emotionally wounded from lack of her parents' approval.

I would highly recommend this book for mature readers.
Disclosure of Material Connection:  I was provided a free copy of this book by Tyndale House Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion.
