Here's a recipe for a wonderful salad topper. The funny thing? I don't even like walnuts. But, I really love these little babies. They are sooo easy to make. And with only three ingredients, I know you're gonna love me.

Maple Candied Walnuts
It's okay. I'm really okay with fan mail. Really.
Maple Candied Walnuts
- 1 T walnut or mild olive oil
- 1/2 C walnuts, whole or coarsely chopped
- 2-3 T pure maple syrup
- Heat skillet over medium heat. Add oil.
- When oil is hot, add walnuts. Stir until toasted and fragrant.
- Add maple syrup. Turn off the heat but continue to stir until the moisture has evaporated and the syrup has carmelized.
- Allow to cool before serving on top of your favorite salad.
