Menu Monday, November 26

This week is the beginning of our family's Christmas preparations.  Even though the first Sunday in Advent is December 2, we are starting early with our Jesse tree devotions and decorating the house.  Because I am working much more with my husband's business this year, I am finding that planning is the real key to keeping our household relatively stress-free.

Speaking of planning...  (I couldn't have asked for a better lead-in!)

Monday
B: Oatmeal with cranberries

D: Small group potluck


Tuesday
B: Scrambled eggs; bacon; toast; peaches
L: Leftovers

Creamy pasta & broccoli with turkey; steamed carrots; leftover fruit salad

Wednesday
B: Cinnamon bread French toast; maple syrup; sausage; applesauce
L: Leftovers
D: Cowboy hash; skillet cornbread; green salad; zesty orange salad

 
Thursday
B: Oatmeal with peaches

L: Leftovers
D: Cider-glazed pork chops, new red potatoes, green beans; plain yogurt with honey & fruit

Friday
B: Fried eggs; toast; fruit
L: Leftovers
D:
Fresh fish; brown rice; steamed carrots; broccoli salad; vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce
 
Saturday
B: Waffles with maple syrup; sausage; fruit
L: Summer sausage, cheese, apples
D: Grilled steak;  
creamy au gratin potatoes
; steamed broccoli; Caesar salad; chocolate mousse

Sunday
B: Scrambled eggs; fried potatoes; bacon; fruit
D:
Minestrone soup with kielbasa; sprouted whole wheat french bread; green salad with simple vinaigrette; mock frozen yogurt
