Menu Monday, January 21

Last night we had ham for dinner, so you'll see ham a couple times in this week's meal plan.  Everyone is looking forward to dinner tonight.  Omelets have recently become a favorite and are a great way to use leftovers.

Monday
B: Oatmeal with strawberries
D: Ham & cheese omelets
; fried potatoes; green salad with vinaigrette; sliced pears with cinnamon


Tuesday
B: Fried eggs; bacon; toast; oranges
 

D: Spaghetti pie; Caesar salad; whole wheat sourdough bread (working to perfect new recipe); peaches

Wednesday  
B: Cinnamon bread French toast with maple syrup; sausage; orange slices
D: Grilled hamburger patties; mushroom risotto; best ever broccoli; fruit salad


Thursday
B: Baked soaked oatmeal with apples & raisins served with plain yogurt 

D: Baked macaroni & cheese with ham; beet salad; leftover fruit salad
 

Friday   
B: Fried eggs; bacon; toast; fruit
D: 1st Course:  Savory beet soup
     Main Course: Fresh fish; homemade french fries & parsnip chips; coleslaw with peas
     Dessert: Raspberry fool (using frozen berries; substitute ground turbinado for sugar)

Saturday    
B: Waffles with maple syrup; bacon; fruit 
D: Potato soup; green salad; whole wheat sourdough bread; peaches
   
Sunday   
B: Scrambled eggs with sausage; streusel blueberry buckle; orange slices
D: 1st Course:  Leek puree
     Main Course: Grilled marinated flank steak; garlic mashed potatoes; green beans with toasted almonds

     Dessert: mock frozen yogurt
