Menu Monday, January 14

This week I am getting out my seed catalogs and starting to do some garden planning.  I don't know about you, but now that Christmas is over, I'm ready for spring.

Monday
B: Oatmeal with strawberries
D: Leftover chicken, bacon, onion & cheese omelet;
green salad; fried potatoes; fruit salad


Tuesday
B: Fried eggs; bacon; toast; leftover fruit salad

D: Salisbury steaks; red potatoes; roasted cauliflower with Parmesan; baked apples

Wednesday  
B: Cinnamon bread French toast with maple syrup; sausage; orange slices
D: Mexican rice bowls with shredded Mexican beef & black beans; green salad; pears

Thursday
B: Baked soaked oatmeal with apples & dried peaches

D: Grilled hamburger patties; roasted spicy potato wedges; broccoli saladmock frozen yogurt
 
Friday   
B: Fried eggs; toast; fruit & yogurt
D: 1st Course: Caesar salad
     Main Course: Fresh fish; mushroom risotto; green beans sauteed with bacon & almonds
     Dessert: Upside-down rhubarb spice cake with whipped cream

Saturday    
B: Waffles with maple syrup; bacon; bananas 
D: White chicken chili; cornbread; green salad; popcorn for snack
   
Sunday   
B: Molded eggs on spinach & grated raw potato pancakes with Hollandaise sauce; sausage; zesty orange salad
D: 1st Course: Beet salad with goat cheese (substitute fresh orange juice for concentrate)
     Main Course: Baked ham; creamy au gratin potatoes; cranberry sauce; peas

     Dessert: Leftover cake
