Tomorrow is a special day in our house. It's Tom's birthday! Everyone is excited because that means there will be chocolate cake in the house. Also for birthdays, we let the birthday boy/girl choose what they want for dinner. Normally for the kids that means pizza or something like that. Tom really didn't care what was for dinner as long as he got his cake!Over the weekend, we defrosted the freezer. What a job but so glad it is done. Next time I'll remember to do it in the spring before we start picking berries. November is not a good time of the year to defrost a freezer...brrrr! While we cleaned out the freezer, we found that we still had two Prime Rib roasts. Seeing that, Tom could not refuse that for his birthday dinner. :)
So, here's what's on our menu for the week. I hope that your week goes smoothly and holds unexpected surprises...like Prime Rib roasts in the freezer that you had forgotten about!
